The NCC came into existence on 16 July 1948 through the NCC Act XXXI of 1948. Its objective is not only to train young boys and girls to be better citizens and future leaders but also train them for emergency conditions. In 2009, our college volunteered for raising of the NCC Kanpur Senior Wing Girls Division. The division of our college has a strength of 160 cadets per year for both "B" and "C" Certificate. Exceptional work by cadets is rewarded by the Chief Minister and Governor and they are also entitled to financial awards. NCC cadets are preferred in Government organizations and Banks and bonus marks are awarded in Law, B'Ed courses, Tele communication Department. 25 Cadets represented our College in National Camps like RDC and TSC at Rajpath in Delhi; and had the honour of receiving awards from the Prime Minister, President, Governor of States and Chief Ministers.
